.His Mercy is New everY mornInG.

Earlier of this month, Pope John Paul II passed away and now a new Pope has been elected - Pope Benedict XVI. It is quite interesting how the world's reaction to this once in a lifetime event for many people. The world mourned for the passing away of Pope John Paul II and now rejoices for the new Pope. How many religion in the world that receives such attention? The CNN is still talking about this event. The world leaders are giving their comments and make polite congratulation. I bet many countries' newspapers are going to display his pictures at the first page. Hmm..Will Sg papers do it?With all these fuss about racial and religion harmony, maybe the pope's new face will only occupy at most a quater of the page?Well, we'll see tomorrow. Hmm..This year indeed is an interesting year. The aftermath of tsunami, the earthquakes, the transition between one Pope to another. What's next?

Indeeed, Holy Spirit is at work. God has His own plan. Those cardinals are not just any man on the street. They are God's servants and they spend much much more time with God and God's word and do His will than we do and I believe that Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger is chosen because it is the work of Holy Spirit. The new Pope maybe a conservative one but come on people, give him a chance. He just got elected and haven't even step properly into his new shoes. Some people are just funny. They are disappointed that their national cardinal is not chosen. Come on lar. They are choosing the leader of Roman Catholic Church their holy father, the man who maybe has even more power and influence than any world leaders. Serious matter here!!!
This guy says the right thing, Raul Palacio from Peru
" The pope is not just for one country but for the world.. meaning every single country."

and back to my study..Enzyme is next..
May God bless the new Pope.
