Friends used to ask me, "why do you go movie alone?". My answer is always, "why not?I don't see the reason why we need to be accompanied everytime we step out of our house".
Imagine you wake up one fine day and the weather is just perfect for a light hearted stroll. The sun is shining but clouds are there in strategic spots to shade us. Gentle breeze lightly ruffles the hair and it feels refreshingly cold when it touches the face. Go out and take a short walk at the park or in the neighbourhood. Listen to the laughter of children playing. Smile to people that walked pass. MmmM...How beautiful it is. For once, the world is sane, full of hope and peaceful. Be silence and enjoy the beauty of Nature. God's love and presence can be felt everywhere. Oh how wonderful it is.
I went to watch movie today. Yep, the first movie in 3 months. It's a love comedy titled Must love Dogs. Hillarious, charming and light hearted are the words to describe Diana Lane and John Cusack. After watching it, I felt a familiar fuzzy yet warm feeling in me. Hope. Yes, it is hope. Although such movies are expected to have happy ending, it never fails to revive the hope in my heart. You may say I'm foolish to believe and derive hope from movies, but what is life without hope?I think Love and hope do prevent the sane side of our world from extinction. Rainy day does bring out the mellow side of me.
