.His Mercy is New everY mornInG.

I've just finish typing 2 emails for my comm ppl. Hmmm, I'm getting more long winded nowadays. Oh no!! Certain people will soon be the victim of my longwindedness. Mom and I are rather similar in many ways. To certain extent, we are both workaholics, vain, long winded, introvert at times, and love tv series. LOL. Well, she is my mom after all

Anyway, I received 4 emails regarding rag stuff. As I proof read those mails (haiz..I always do that when the reading is freaking long). the familiar rush of excitement washes over me. Suddenly, there's 1001 things to do. Brain cells are working tremendously well. Excellent. I love this kind of feeling. The last time I had this kind of feeling was during last day of rag 0506. That last hour before 230am was so intense that I was oblivious of my surrounding. Noises was drown in all the mayhem. Only when they said stop then I realised so many shearites and alumnis were watching us. Cool....

I wonder what kind of experience this rag will give me. Midway fair felt like a rollercoaster ride - emotionally and physically. It was new and exciting, just like any other new things in my life. My pastor said that when we read a familiar verse or even when we commune, we should treat them as if this is the first time we read or commune. Auto-pilotting our brain robbed us of wonderful opportunities to experience new meanings of that thing. Don't get it?
For example, the first time you eat chicken rice, maybe you will think it's the chicken that makes that particular chicken rice so unique. The second time you eat it, treat it as if this is the first time you tasted it, maybe you'll discover that it's not only the chicken but also the chilli, the rice or maybe the soy sauce used.
For this comm, I will try to apply the same concept. Even identical twins are different in personalities and behaviours. Therefore, expectations of this comm will be different. It is human nature to compare and contrast. But, I will try my best not to make comparison.
