How blind can these "wise" men be?

The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) said the successive disasters that had hit Indonesia lately were not punishment nor a curse by God but "trials and tests."

"They were all trials and tests that we should bear with fortitude and patience," MUI deputy chairman Din Syamsuddin said at the vice presidential office here on Tuesday.

Well, see whether they still can say these things when disasters strike their backyards and levelled their houses.
