.His Mercy is New everY mornInG.

If my heart has grown cold
There Your love will unfold
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
When I’m blind to my way
There Your Spirit will pray
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand

Oceans will part nations come
At the whisper of Your call
Hope will rise glory shown
In my life Your will be done

Present suffering may pass
Lord Your mercy will last
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
And my heart will find praise
I’ll delight in Your way
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand

What a beautiful song!It was never about me, it's about HIM!It's always about Jesus. Glorifying Him, praising and worshiping Him, that's what I want to do!
Recently, I've been pondering about what is His will in my life. His specific will, to be exact. What He wants me to be. A dear sister in Christ told me, first and foremost, His will in my life is for me to be His child -sons and daughters of God. When she told me that, it was like a veil being lifted up from my face. I thought that was it. It wasn't. His goodness and blessings never stops!!Today, during bible study, pastor Lian preached on the will of God for us, His people!!!How amazing is that. It must be God. It is God! He always answer my questions!!
God has said over and over again, "I will bless you, I will keep you, I will do it for you!"
For Jeremiah, He said in Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

To Abraham, in Genesis 12:1-3, God said,
I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

So what about us, people of the current period? It is the same! God will do it for us. God will open doors that can't possibly be opened by mere human efforts. He is the same yesterday, today and forever! Awesome God!!
Another wonderful verse that was shared this evening came from book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 43:18-19
Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

How wonderful our God is! He said forget the past. Leave it where it should be. Look, God is doing great things and they are in the future. No matter how horrible our circumstances and even our life now, He doesn't see us and all our flaws. But, He sees Jesus who is living in us. Therefore, move forward and let that glorious and victorious life spring forth!Don't let that circumstances, feelings, failure, guilt or/and whatever that make you stuck at where you are to continue holding you back! Go to God!He wants to be involved in our life!!
Pastor shared something that touched my heart. It is a story of a drug addict that feels he was too screwed up to be alive. As he was contemplating suicide at a 12th story building rooftop, a voice told him,
"if you don't want your life, don't end it. Give it to Me." To cut the long story short, the ex drug addict kicked his habit, accepted Jesus, and serves the Lord as pastor in his church in JB. God can change people! Inside out! No matter how screwed up we are, know that there is still hope.
