My first post from Bali. Praise Jesus! This place is awesomely beautiful. The sunset is gorgeous! One morning, my mom, aunt, sis and I went to a hotel in seminyak to eat breakfast. Right in front of our table was a stretch of beach and blue sea that stretches all the way tot he horizon. We ate superb breakfasts while enjoying the view. Pictures coming a little later.
I have been deprived of internet connection for almost 2 weeks!!! Don't know how is my job applications, my friends, my facebook, the world outside, etc etc. On the other hand, I have been completely at rest and living like a queen!! LoL. Royalty with good food and good shoppings.
God has been really good to me. I have been "on the run" with school stuff, hall stuff and other miscellaneous things that there is no real extended rest for me.
I have been reading a book titled "heavenly man". A story about a man whom the Lord saved and used greatly in His plan for the lost ones!! I finished the book in 1 week time. His life story intertwined with the history of Chinese house churches. They were like the church in book of acts. Signs and wonders follow the believers wherever they go. Amidst persecutions, children of God stay faithful to the Lord and the Lord never shortchanged them. The last figure of believers added to the Kingdom of God is 58 millions in China alone!!!!!
The last spiritual giants in the world are Buddishm, Hinduism and Islam. They are like Goliath in Old testament. But the Lord use a shepherd boy David to bring down Goliath. "The Lord delivered me from the Lion and the bear. Today, the Lord will deliver me from this filthy Philistine who has defiled the name of the Lord of Israel."
In my own family, the progress seems to be halted or even backslidden to where it started aka back to square one. As I was debating with myself whether I should share with my family, it dawned to me that repentance and conversion to Christ is not about how much I shared Jesus with them. It is not how well I speak not it is about how many times I need to disapprove their idols. The Lord told me that when Holy Spirit convicts the people of their sins, they will repent and accept Jesus! I was sad when sis told me that she has chosen the idols and practices their ways. But, Jesus is even more grieved than I am coz He loves her more than I do, more than anyone could. I know Jesus loves my family. It maybe years till the day we can worship the Lord together, but I will never stop praying for their salvation.
Life for my family is good. Every whims and needs are met. Troubles are far away and they seem to be non-existence. Are these the reasons for their complacency and their refusal to obey the Lord? If they are, I would rather troubles strike and poverty comes. Again, it is the Lord's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. I am not and never will be in control. I should not even try to tell my Lord what to do. For He is wiser than the wisest in the world. Jesus loves my family more than I. Will He not desire all to come home to Him? Will He not wills that all receive the forgiveness of sins? All I can do is pray and seek Jesus everyday. Friends, pray for my family too. They need the Lord urgently, although they themselves can't see it.
