.His Mercy is New everY mornInG.

A verse that I hold dear to during the hardest time in my uni life.

Phil 4:6-7
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall [d]garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

God never give us spirit of fear. God never cause confusions and God is a living God who is active in every single event of our life.

A famous or most common question by men: If God is good, if God loves us, If God want to save us, then why the sufferings still exist in this world? Why evil still reigns?
I don't know where to start in answering these. I don't guarantee I'll be able to provide a perfect answer. This world after all is a fallen world. Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve fell. Sufferings, afflictions, sickness and death are consequences of sins. Jesus did not come to take away ALL sufferings and transform this earth into garden of Eden. He came to deal with the root of the problem, sin.

He came to die on our behalf, take our share of punishments for our own sin. He is the only One qualified for this coz He is without sin to begin with. He is God and came in the likeness of human but without a trace of sin to take all our punishments! He came to comfort us in our sufferings, He came to heal our wounds. So that we will still be triumphant amidst all the sufferings in the world. So that we who have accepted Jesus and become His disciples can be the light and salt in this world, a witness to Jesus Christ. We, His body (church is said to be body of Christ), will be used as His vessel to reach out to even more lost ones. Some don't even know they need forgiveness of their sins desperately.

Our hope is not in this world. This world will pass away. Our permanent home with Jesus is not in this life but the life after this. For those who is stiff-necked and still refuse Jesus, their home will be with the devil in hell. Time is running out. Don't wait till Jesus come the 2nd time and then beg Him for mercy and forgiveness.
